“If you (or your child) want to learn to sew, look no further- All Sewn Up by Anne is where you should be! As an adult beginner, I took adult classes with Anne through Rec and Ed, and mixed age classes in her studio. Anne has an amazing ability to work with a group of people of all ages and all abilities. Although she has a curriculum for kids and adults, I wanted to choose my own projects, and she was very supportive. My projects were sometimes far beyond my abilities, but she was able to work with me to develop the skills I needed. Within the first 10 months, I had made some cloth shopping bags, a knit t-shirt, a short-sleeve button-up "camp" shirt, and a fleece jacket. But the best part of Anne's classes is Anne herself. She is such a warm, friendly, encouraging person, and she truly loves teaching people to sew.”

"Anne, I just had to write and tell you about our very successful sewing weekend. A week or so ago I sent you a note regarding measurements for some pillows Hannah and I were making for her classroom. You gave us some good advice and we were off to JoAnn Fabrics for our supplies. So on Saturday, we sat down and began the project. Hannah was a model of self-confidence as she set up the sewing machine, ran a bobbin and then very quickly ran the seams for the four pillows. She encountered a few bumps along the way, but she was confident she could solve the problems and told me about Miss Anne's optimistic approach to sewing - several times. We completed the pillows yesterday and she brought them in to her teacher this morning. Mrs."P" was overwhelmed by the gesture and Hannah was delighted and so very proud she was able to contribute to her classroom.

It was remarkable - THANK YOU for inspiring Hannah to be such a self-confident seamstress. You can be sure she will be signing up for more lessons next year...again, thanks so much Anne!

Hi Anne, Just wanted to let you know how much Eva is enjoying sewing camp. She went to bed tonight with the drawstring bag in her arms. She's already saying how sad she will be on Friday. She can't wait till tomorrow!

Thanks so much!
